BABY HAPPY GHAST

WHITE

Its harness is bleached bone-white. The colour favoured by ghasts that want to be seen coming.

LIGHT GRAY

A harness the colour of old ash. Practical, unshowy, and impossible to spot against a storm.

GRAY

Dull slate webbing. This one has clearly been flown hard and washed rarely.

BLACK

Soot-dyed straps. It drifts through the dark with only the rope trim catching the light.

BROWN

Undyed and honest. The harness most often found on a working ghast.

RED

A harness dyed the colour of warning. Its rider is rarely subtle.

ORANGE

Bright as a hazard flag, so nothing below mistakes it for a cloud.

YELLOW

Sunflower webbing that glows against a grey sky. Cheerful to the point of rudeness.

LIME

Sharp green straps. Popular with riders who like being noticed from the ground.

GREEN

Deep moss dye. It vanishes entirely when it drifts low over a forest.

CYAN

A cool sea-green harness. It looks most at home over open water.

LIGHT BLUE

Sky-dyed straps that blur into the horizon. Riders lose track of their own mount.

BLUE

Deep indigo webbing, the traditional dye. Most hatchlings are fitted with this first.

PURPLE

Royal dye on a very small ghast. It carries itself accordingly.

MAGENTA

Loud, unapologetic pink-violet. Chosen entirely on purpose.

PINK

Soft blush straps. The gentlest looking harness, on the gentlest looking mount.
